Whether malleable steel can do a good job of anti-corrosion work will have a crucial role for the project, which will not only affect the quality of the entire project, but also affect the progress of the project. Under normal circumstances, if the malleable steel parts can pay attention to anti-corrosion, the service life can reach 50 years, then how should the malleable steel parts do anti-corrosion measures?

First, add anti-corrosion coating on the inner wall: In order to prevent the corrosion of malleable steel pipes, reduce friction resistance and improve throughput, a film can be coated on the inner wall of malleable steel pipes. Commonly used coatings are amine cured epoxy resin and polyamide epoxy resin, the coating thickness is 0.038~0.2mm. In order to ensure that the coating is firmly bonded to the pipe wall, the inner wall of the pipe should be surface treated.

Second, adding insulation coating to the outer wall: In order to reduce the loss of a large amount of heat during the use of malleable steel pipes, a layer of insulation coating can be added to the outer wall. The commonly used insulation coating material is rigid polyurethane foam, and the applicable temperature is -185~95℃. This material has a soft texture. In order to improve its strength, a layer of high-density polyethylene layer is added to the insulation layer to form a composite material structure to prevent groundwater from penetrating into the insulation layer.

In fact, the application range of malleable steel pipes is relatively wide, and it is mainly suitable for the construction of equipment pipelines in industrial buildings. In the construction process, malleable steel pipes will have inner wall corrosion and outer wall corrosion under electrochemical action, and can be divided into overall corrosion and local corrosion according to the form of pipeline corrosion. According to the corrosion process of the pipeline, it can be divided into chemical corrosion and electrochemical corrosion. In order to improve the corrosion resistance of malleable steel pipes, it is usually necessary to carry out anti-corrosion treatment of pipes before use, and it is also necessary to pay attention to reducing the concentration of corrosive media of pipes as much as possible when in use to prevent the deepening of corrosion of malleable steel pipes.

In addition, the selection of anticorrosive materials in the anticorrosive treatment of malleable steel pipes is also very important, which is directly related to the quality of pipeline anticorrosion. Therefore, when performing anti-corrosion treatment, appropriate anti-corrosion materials must be selected to ensure the anti-corrosion effect. General malleable steel pipes used in anti-corrosion materials are mainly the following:

1.3PE anticorrosive material. This kind of anticorrosive material is mainly polyethylene and polypropylene, of course, it can also be replaced by epoxy resin anticorrosive material, through the use of epoxy resin composite coating, phenolic epoxy coating and polymer composite material for malleable steel pipe anticorrosive treatment.

2. Epoxy coal asphalt anticorrosive materials, the main selection of such anticorrosive materials are asphalt anticorrosive coatings and polypropylene non-woven fabrics; If the anti-corrosion treatment requirements are not very strict, you can also choose cement mortar, through the sealing of cement mortar to carry out anti-corrosion treatment of malleable steel pipes.

3. Malleable steel pipes can also be treated with anti-corrosion wrapping tape. This tape generally includes polyethylene anti-corrosion tape, polypropylene reinforced fiber anti-corrosion tape and aluminum foil anti-ultraviolet anti-corrosion tape.
