Flat welded flange
The flat welded flange includes plate flat welded flange and neck flat welded flange.
Flat welded flange (PL)
The flat welded flange is suitable for the connection of steel pipe with nominal pressure not exceeding 2.5MPa. The sealing surface of the flat welded flange can be made of smooth type, concave and convex type and tenon type three. The application of smooth flat welded flange is the largest. It is mostly used in the case of moderate medium conditions, such as low-pressure unpurified compressed air and low-pressure circulating water.
Flat welded flange with neck (SO)
The neck height of flat welded flange with neck is low, which improves the stiffness and bearing capacity of the flange. Compared with the butt welding flange, the welding workload is large, the welding rod consumption is high, can not withstand high temperature and high pressure and repeated bending and temperature fluctuations, but the field installation is more convenient, can omit the weld patting and kneading process, and is more popular.
Neck Butt welding (WN)
Butt welded flange: Neck flange welding is often referred to as "high junction" flange. The aim is to transfer pressure in the pipe, thereby reducing the concentration of high stress in the flange. Neck flange welds are best designed for butt welds that offer flanges due to their inherent structural value. However, the price is relatively high, because the production process of the product is complex.
Threaded (threaded) flange:
The threaded flange is connected with a thread. But the center of the product has a thread size corresponding to the pipe. Its main advantage is that it can be assembled without welding.
